Solving the Great American Murder Mystery:
A National Symposium on the 40th Anniversary of the JFK Assassination Jerry Policoff Jerry Policoff has been a student of the JFK assassination since 1966 and an active member of the critical community since the late 1960’s. His primary specialty has been the role of the media in reporting on, and helping to cover up, this and other major political assassinations. Mr. Policoff also closely followed the work of the House Select Committee on Assassinations, which he covered as a correspondent for New Times Magazine. Among other news items, he was the first to report that the committee had commissioned acoustics tests that indicted shots from the front. In addition to that publication, Mr. Policoff’s work on the case has been published in The Realist, Rolling Stone, The Washington Star, Gallery Magazine, The New York Times (op-ed piece), The Village Voice, and three book-length anthologies (The Assassinations; Government By Gunplay; and JFK: The Book of the Film). He has also participated in numerous symposia on the case. Back to Faculty |
